In fact, we believe it is arguably the best with it's mix of intoxicating mix of non-stop music, dance, samba, fun and full on Spanish celebration. We've always said it truly has to be seen to be believed and we are proud to have continually promoted the party aspect and introduced many thousands of travellers to this amazing experience. We are just as proud of our efforts to promote the ills of bullfighting. There's no argument. It's barbaric and has no place in the 21st century. We believe the best way of bringing this to a halt is to be able to educate and let the public experience for themselves. We offer a choice of Pamplona packages, covering the entire fiesta from the opening on 6 July through to the closing on 14 July. Our flexible camping (and Glamping) accommodation only packages are very popular with people making their own way to Pamplona. Our London coach tours cover the sensational opening ceremony of San Fermin on 6 July. Camping in Pamplona for San Fermin

PP Travel's Pamplona base is at Camping Ezcaba, just 7km from the city centre it is by far the closest campground to the old town. Not only has it got excellent facilities - Ezcaba has the major advantage of being just on the outskirts of the Pamplona. We use pre-erected Glamping tents plus 4 person dome tents on a twin share, 2 to a tent, or single occupancy basis.

Hotel Accommodation in Pamplona for San Fermin

Our hotel is located in the Burlada district which is Pamplona's main student accommodation area. It is serviced by 24-hour public transport and is just 1.5 miles outside the old city itself so is a very fast commute. There is a 24hr reception and Wi-Fi in the hotel and there is also a restaurant/bar on site. In the surrounding streets there are also many more bars as well as plenty of shops, plazas and restaurants to discover in this buzzing part of town. This afternoon we offer a walking tour of the old town and bull run route.

If you an doing accommodation only package, you will need to make your own way to Pamplona and then it is very easy to get to Ezcaba, being the closest camp to the old town, just 7km away. For those flying into Spain we can offer transfers on request. The price will depend upon the group size, but ideal and economic for large groups, such as stag or hen parties. Alternatively there are a number of public transport options or you may choose to drive to our campsite by van or hire car. Other than Pamplona's own airport people heading to San Fermin also arrive into Biarritz and Blibao.

Low cost airline destinations from London include: Biarritz (130km from Pamplona) and Bilbao (160km from Pamplona), Zaragoza (180km from Pamplona) and Santander (260km). Further afield Barcelona (490km) and the capital Madrid (450km).

You can fly into Pamplona Iberia Airlines, but must change flights in either Madrid or Barcelona and flights are normally very expensive unless booked very early.

We offer tailored airport transfers operating from Biarritz or Bilbao (other airports on request) taking you directly to our Ezcaba camping base close to Pamplona. These is no doubt these are the easiest options if you choose to fly to the Running of the Bulls. The price will depend upon the size of each group. For groups up to 3 or 4 people the cost will be from approx £60 each way. Mid sized groups of 8 and above about £33 each. Large groups from £20 per person. Please contact us directly for further information.

If you take public transport from the coastal airports, please be aware that it can take up to 6 hours (depending on bus and train connections) to get from Bilbao or Biarritz airports to our campsite. Transport will NOT be running from Bilbao airport after about 8pm in the evening so please make sure you are aware of this if choosing an evening flight into Bilbao. All Spanish bus companies seem to have a siesta midday between about 12 and 2pm so also please be aware of this.

If don't take a PP transfer from Bilbao or Biarritz - the best option is for you to fly into Pamplona's local airport. These flights from the UK will ALWAYS be via either Madrid or Barcelona and are normally much more expensive than flights to Bilbao or Biarritz. From Pamplona airport you catch a bus or taxi into the city then a bus to our camping base (about 20km). A taxi directly from the airport to our camp will cost around 25 euros, which is a good option if there is a group who can share the cost.

Other airports: You may consider Zaragoza or Santander. While budget airlines fly into these destinations, public transport will prove all most impossible but we can organise transfers from these upon request. You can fly cheaply into Madrid or Barcelona, but will be looking at least a 6 hour train or bus to Pamplona city and then local bus to our base.

Make sure you have your valid passport with you. We supply your pre-erected tents with airbed and sleeping bag along with breakfast each morning at the camp.

The weather should be hot and sunny, so bring your swimmers, towel, and sun cream. But be warned: it can get cool late at night - so also bring something warm. Occasionally it can also be cool and wet. So basically be prepared for everything!

Traditional fiesta clothing is all white with a red bandana, so bring all your old white t-shirts and pants/skirts.Close

At camp we offer a free security valuables service, where your valuables such as passports, wallets and electrical gear will be locked up at reception. You have access to these valuables during breakfast. Please note, as per our booking conditions, whilst all due care will be taken in providing security for these items, any passengers using this service does so completely at their own risk. No responsibility will be taken by this firm for any losses or damages that may occur whilst under our care. General personal items such as clothes and sleeping bags are normally ok left in tents which are not obviously not secure. Please remember that all personal items taken on any tour is the full responsibility of each passenger. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance to cover any unfortunate losses.

As with most of western Europe, the local currency in Spain is the Euro. We strongly suggest you change up the bulk of your money before leaving. While there are plenty of ATMs about in Pamplona (not at the camp).How much? This will depend very much on how much you drink. Pamplona, being a street fiesta, is quite cheap, budget on 60-100 euros per day to cover food and general partying.Close

Yes, off course you do. We encourage all passengers to have adequate travel insurance on all of our tours - the possibilities for injury or loss are considerable and medical costs can be extremely expensive - but we do not force you into purchasing our insurance. Remember the old saying; If you can't afford travel insurance, you can't afford to travel!Close

You can treat yourself to viewing the Running of the Bulls on a balcony as the they run immediately below you. Limited balcony places are available and must be pre-booked. Cost of a balcony spot is from GBP£95 per person. Price is dependant on where along the run the balcony is.

All passengers will need to carry a valid passport.

People on passports from the likes of India, South African and Zimbabwe will need a Schengen Visa from the Spanish consulates. You can see a list of countries whose citizens are required to obtain a Schengen visa in order to enter by following this link. Please organise visas well in advance, as the Spanish Embassies typically has lengthy delays.

People with Australian, New Zealand, UK and other EC passports do not require visas.
