PP Travel offers a complete day return coach package from London to Epsom Downs Racecourse for Derby Day with a choice of entrance options of either the Walton and Hill Enclosure or the Grandstand Enclosure. Both of these enclosures include entrance to The Hill Enclosure also which is the general admission area of the course in the middle of the track where the carnival and rides are located.

There is also a meet there package where you would make your own way to and from Epsom but receive everything else the same as per the coach package.

We also offer day trips to the Epsom Festival on Friday which is Ladies Day but this option is for coach or meet there group bookings of 40+ only.

Epsom Derby Festival tours all depart from Victoria Embankment near Westminster Pier.

Derby Day: Saturday, 6th of June 2020 @ 8:30am.

Coaches cannot wait past their departure time so please plan to arrive at Embankment at least 30 minutes before departure times. Coaches will be there for loading 30 minutes prior to your departure time. It will not be possible to wait past the allotted departure time.

Victoria Embankment is a 4 minute walk from Westminster underground station.

There are no other departure points either in London, en-route to Epsom, nor from anywhere else in the UK. However we do have an option for those who want to make their own way to Epsom to meet us at our lunch/party zone and join the tour there for £20 off the normal coach price.

If you have chosen our package without the transport to and from London, you will need to make your own way there to Epsom and meet us at the Tattenham Enclosure where our luncheon and bar will be set-up. Full details will be provided as to where to meet closer to the time.

Epsom Racecourse is situated at the top of the Epsom Downs. Normally it would take about 90-120 minutes from central London, however on race day this can vary due to traffic. We depart Embankment at 8:30am sharp in the morning. On the return journey we depart Epsom at 7pm, about 90 minutes after the last race (which is around 5:30pm) is finished, and aim to have you back in London around 9pm depending on traffic. Your PP rep will give you instructions on the day.Close

The buffet luncheon PP Travel provides on all our Epsom Derby Festival tours are extensive. It is a cold buffet and there are plenty of vegetarian options. You will not go hungry, we assure you!Close

Lunch is served just in front of where the coach is going to be parked in the Walton Enclosure. The area is grassed and we recommend you bring a picnic blanket to sit on. You can bring fold up chairs for lunch if you desire and you can leave your chair under the coach during the day if required. If you are making your own way to the racecourse, it is your responsibility to make your own way to the Walton Enclosure for lunch.Close

Racing at Epsom over the Derby Day Festival, as well as hosting the richest race in Britain, is a BIG PARTY EVENT - so it would certainly be amiss not to provide drinks with lunch. You have the choice of quality red or white wine with your meal - and there will be plenty provided as well as bubbly and beer. Free non-alcoholic drinks are also available both on the coach journey and throughout lunch at the track.Close

We encourage all passengers to have adequate travel insurance on our tours as there is always the possibility for injury or loss. If you do not have your own travel insurance at the time of booking your PP Travel tour you can be offered the option to take out a travel insurance policy for the day with our provider.Close

During the Derby Day Festival meeting there are a number of Bookmakers on the Hill and in the Upper Tattenham and Grandstand Enclosures, as well as numerous TOTE outlets. All of them will be able to provide you with the necessary betting assistance and tools to have a flutter.Close

As deposits are non-refundable* so you will unfortunately lose at least this amount if you cancel. Please note that bookings and names are not transferable.
